Humanity has always acted like zombies when put in groups.

In the past they burned women calling them witches and most of the town went along with that murder because they were brainwashed by mass religion...

At least now, despite the crazy stuff, we have a more open society that doesn't believe in fairy tales like invisible gods who tell them what to do.

Humanity is progressing forward, even though they were idiotic during covid.

It's easier to break the belief in the shots and authorities than to break the belief in imaginary gods.

I hope you're right Rob.

I do see some evidence of quiet background updates happening in the human organism. BUt as you say religion proves that anything can happen. Mind viruses (if you'll excuse the term) have infected and spread across all minds even those who reject them because they have to interact with the 'taken' cult members everywhere they go.

Religious people and historians defend this position by saying religion acts like glue providing common ground for communities and brings peace of mind, but imo accepting fairy tales and mythological characters as deities and role models has always been flawed and can only lead to derangement and disappointment.

How much better things would and could be if we simply stuck to what we can prove and kept the stories for life lesson and entertainment purposes.

Even now, we have at least three religious factions acting out their prophecy fulfillment protocols to see if their respective messiahs will descend and bring peace to the world.

And the more radical ones want to see the world burn because that would speed things up a bit.

It's time to move on from all the crazy.
